The dimension of Woods was one of eight natural fields that were each invisible to the others and each was a horizontal space of the same size as the universe of God. The dimension of Woods was a wild area of forests and the holy land of trees. All forest types were inside the Woods: the elven forests grove, taiga and jungle, and the erven forests timber, briar and thicket. The gates into the Woods were inside Tataria, Japan and Arabia, and in each of the countries the wild doors were situated in the depth of their central forests. Also it was possible to reach the Woods through a technical gate, and the access to such entrance was in possession of all citizens of the world. The Woods were protected and cared for by a convent of St. Benedictine and three other monasteries. Religion was very important inside the Woods, which was a holy spiritual region that could not be visited by any atheist without his harm. There were no cities and no villages in this dimension, instead life could only be led in isolated houses or convents, and marketplaces and churches were two of very few types of public spots where social gatherings could take place. The king of the Ents lived in the centre of the Woods dimension, inside a region known as Aria, and led his life among multiple birds who graced the whole field with their songs and their fly shows. The king lived also alone, and each of his citizen trees led a lonesome life, only once in a while participating in meetings which celebrated their mutual friendship.
